Kay Enns

Kay Enns has been teaching art to Elementary and Junior High students as well as children with special needs for thirty five years.  An artist herself, she has won many awards for her paintings and illustrations which can be found in public and private collections in many countries of the world, including Canada, USA, Germany, England, Japan, and India.  She works in a variety of mediums including watercolours, oil pastels, pencil crayons, acrylics, and pen and ink, and has created hundreds of mandalas ranging from 4” to 17’ in diameter.

Through her business, Creative Potentials, she has taught painting, drawing, creativity, and mandala workshops to teachers, adults and children for the past fifteen years.  She ran highly successful Summer Art Camps for ten years, including summer programs for girls at the Rosemont Community Centre for six years.  Recently she completed a series of illuminated Christian Symbols for a book entitled Glittering Images.  She is also the author of a book called “Teachers Take Heart”.  She has created an art program of self-paced, self-guided art lessons and activities covering the basic art elements and art principles to be used by teachers and students, and has produced a variety of colouring books, colouring posters, greeting cards, coasters, and mandala tools.  Her paintings have been in a number of galleries in Canada and the US.  She currently sells paintings and prints privately through her website.
